Why is mars red?

                   Why mars looks red?

                 Hello everyone, in today's post I'm gonna explain why planet mars appears red.

              So mars have rocks and soil which mostly contain iron.
atmospheric oxygen in the air then react to the rocks and soil.
Thus, making reddish iron oxide or rust.

           So mars is red because of the reddish iron oxide but some area's of mars are green or brown or even butterscotch coloured.

           Then why does it look red? confused?
because of the dust storms on mars they last from weeks to even months. They blow up the dust into the atmosphere.
thus, giving the planet reddish colour.
So mars is red.
