WHY DO THE STARS TWINKLE?

hello everyone, today I'm going to explain why do the stars twinkle and how?.

So the twinkle of stars is due to the Atmospheric refraction.
Atmospheric refraction is the bending of the light caused by the earth's atmosphere.

        Earth's atmosphere is changing continuously.
when the light of the stars travels through space towards us, the continuously changing earth's atmosphere refracts or bend the light by different amount and in different directions every moment.

When the atmosphere refracts more starlight towards us, the star appears more bright and when the atmosphere refracts less starlight, the star appears dim.

In this way the amount or starlight reaches our eyes increases and decreases causing the star to appears twinkling.
