Can we travel faster than the speed of light?
our universe is very big. it consist of numerous galaxies, stars, planet, etc.
however, until now, we are able to examine only a few of them.
so, in order to cross vast distance and explore distant place we need to travel very fast.
now it is observed that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. which is above 186,282 miles per second. this means light from earth will take only 1.3 seconds to reach the moon.
if we compare this to Apollo 11 spacecraft that took 75 hours and 56 minutes to just enter the orbit of the moon. so, imagine if we could travel faster than the light, then space travel would be so easy.
we could time travel and even see our future.
however, travelling faster than the speed of light is impossible.
do you know why?
according to Einstein's theory of relativity, to move an object we require energy. To make an object speed up or faster we require even more enery.
so what do think? how much will be require to make an object move at the speed of light?
if we again refer to the Einstein's theory of relativity.
we can conclude that it would require an infinite amount of energy to make an object move at the speed of light.
but looking are the current situation, neither do we have the necessary resources nor do we have the technology to produce an infinite amount of energy.
hence we can not travel at the speed of light.

Yes we can. Acouple if not more ways. Light speed is like a speed limit on a play ground. Its ment for life. To achieve faster then it is achievable. The question is really, if you travelled at light speed, would you be the same when you reached your destination? HowardsLaw For Nobel Prize In Physics there os abit on it. If i uploaded all your thoughts, and beamed them to say mars. And once on mars, you will have a new body (sleeve). Thats a simple way. Almost like cloning, almost like teleportation, almost like time travel. All really are the same when you break down the logics. You mind can be recreated. The thing we need to start with is saving our thoughts to a cpu/storage device. We humans forget alot. Where a computer wouldnt. Also our human brains only hold so much space. So the more advanced you are or more smart. Of you upgrade and then downgrade, like a god/demigod/alien to a human, you would have to choose your thoughts, as not all the knowledge would fit.
