Why sky looks black at night?

 
             We all have seen the sky in the night and it looks all black and dark, have you ever wonder why it looks black at night?

In today's post i will try to explain it.

So, Our sun is a huge star, which emits a tremendous amount of light.

however like our sun, there are so many stars in the universe. so if there are so many stars, the space should be black, right?

however, this is not the case, According to a study the space appears black because the universe is expanding.

this expansion of light is causing the visible light emitted by the star stretch out so much  that when its reaches our eyes they cannot detect it.

As our eye cannot detect any visible light the space appears black to Us.
